Zach Davies

My name is Zach Davies. I live in Gardnerville NV at home with my dad, mom, and brother. I am currently attending Douglas high as a sophomore and play for the junior varsity baseball team. I have been an avid waterfowler for about six years now. My dad introduced me to this sport when I was eight years old and I absolutely fell in love with it. This last season while hunting with the cast from The Bird Men, I shot my first banded mallard. This was a hunt of a life time not only due to all the birds we harvested, but the time spent in the outdoors with my buddies. During the off season, I spend the majority of my time in the outdoors camping and fishing with friends and family.

Hannah Isbister

Hannah Isbister was born on June 9, 1998. She has been hunting and fishing with her dad since she was 5 and has grown to love it. Her first mallard was killed in Fallon Nevada , and in the same year she shot her first goose, snow goose, and cackler in Oregon . Her favorite part about hunting is duck and goose calling. She has been in many state competitions, and hopes to some day make it to the world competition. She has finished in the top three of every competition she has entered and looking for a win this season. She also enjoys being able to hang out with her family and friends.

Clay Davison

Clay Davison is 14 years old and was born in Elko, Nevada. His dad introduced him to the great sport of hunting by taking him on his 1st deer hunt when he was only 5 years old! He started hunting waterfowl when he was 9 out at the greenhead hunt club in Fallon, Nevada. What really got him addicted to hunting was when his dad took him to Africa in 2008. Now Clay spends his free time playing sports, hunting big game, waterfowl and upland birds. He also competes in upland bird hunting competitions as his Dad's shooting partner.

In June of 2011 Clay got his 1st hunting dog, Jasmine, a German shorthair pointer he uses her for hunting chuckar and quail all over Nevada and Northern Arizona. My dad and I trained her for a year and she has received additional training at Western Wing Kennels in Yerington, Nevada. Clay looks forward to having many more successful hunting seasons with jasmine. He is also very honored to be a part of the future fowler program for The Birdmen.

Byron Dinsmore

Byron Dinsmore was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada to Patrick Dinsmore and Angeline Chernezky. He now resides in a small central Alberta community. As a toddler and a young boy, Byron always showed interest and care in animals and wildlife. Now, at 13 years of age, Byron's interest has become a passion. Byron enjoys going on nature drives with many family and friends to scout out his next hunt or just enjoy the scenery and wildlife.

Some of Byron's hobbies include camping, fishing and hunting. He enjoys hunting waterfowl, big game and predators. Byron has had many people teach him how to safely hunt and respect his surrounds, including his dad, Grandpa Gene and Uncle Derek.

Some of his hunting experiences would be shooting his first deer, a 4X4 white tail buck in 2011 and his first waterfowl hunt near Donalda, Alberta September 2011. Byron shot his first snow goose in the fall of 2012 while filming with the Birdmen.

"I learned lots from Denis and all the other guys we were hunting with. I had a blast! Thanks guys for taking me out and making me the first Canadian Youth Waterfowl Prostaff Member. I am proud to be a member of your staff and part of your show" quoted Byron Dinsmore.

Colton Moretto

Colton Moretto was born on May 15, 1998. Wildlife, Hunting and the outdoors is a major part of Colton's life. Living in Fallon Nevada for 14 years has given Colton a huge opportunity to hunt, fish and be outdoors year round.

Colton takes hunting very seriously and has pushed to learn what it takes to make him a better hunter. Last year Colton participated in the Wetlands and Wings Youth day hunt and loved to see how conservation and wildlife management could keep hunting around for everyone for years to come. He met and learned a lot from the volunteers that believe in getting the youth involved and educating them in all aspects of waterfowl. Bird identification and flyway patterns are something that fascinates Colton.

He was invited to hunt with The Birdmen on a televised world-class waterfowl hunt in Oregon. This was his first opportunity to hunt out of state and see how birds work and react to different setups and decoy formations. Because of this fascination and love of hunting he has found that the Wetland and Wings team has a bird banding program that he will be attending this summer.

Colton is also an active member in Fallon's 4H club. This is where they learn about responsibility and how to care and process animals for food. Colton is the President of the 4H Hotshots shooting Club and shoots competitively in the off season. In the Hot Shot program he works with the organization Friends of the N.R.A. to help get the youth involved in shooting and gun safety. Colton also loves to shoot trap and skeet with his friends and family for fun and a little competition.

Colton is also very active in a lot of other sports and activities as well like Baseball, Basketball, and Football and of course girls he is 14. coltonmorettohunting@gmail.com

William Card

William Card from Fallon, Nevada, was born August 2, 2000. He has always had a passion for the outdoors and hunting. Williams enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, banding ducks, and kayaking, but most of all calling.

William first gained a desire for calling when his cousins from Montana came from the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Elk calling contest in Reno, Nevada 2009. William saw the bow that a young boy won by placing 2nd in elk voice calling. He listen to him call and wanted to learn that skill, to get the same awards. That started his journey of calling. He watched many hours of youTube and talked to many people that became his mentors. In April 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada, William won World Champion Voice Elk Caller. He also helped his 6 year old nephew, Rafe Card, place 4th in his division. Williams awards included $1000, a Remington 750, Leupold spotting scope plus many other things. His hours of practicing paid off.

William's desire for calling has lead him to compete in duck and goose calling contests. In the Cabelas Waterfowl Classic 2011, he places 2nd in duck calling and in 2012 was champion duck caller in his division.

William shot his first duck at the Greenhead Hunting Club while attending the Nevada State Youth hunt. He attended the Wetlands and Wings youth hunt also in Fallon. William has gained his knowledge for duck and goose calling also from talking to many mentors including his friend, Justin McAfee. He has learned many tips how to duck and goose call from watching hours of YouTube.

Williams's goals are to better his knowledge of hunting and calling skills and be able to go hunting a lot more with his family and friends. He is thankful to be able to be a part of The Birdman.
